About us.

Great city, great experience, great company.

| Location

PVP is proud to call Calgary home.  Over the last century Calgary has established itself as the strongest and most continually advancing player in western Canada’s energy and utilities markets. Boasting Canada’s second lowest unemployment rate and highest per-capita earnings in the entire country for almost 25 years, if you want to work, then this is where you come.

Calgary’s western heritage eventually seems to rub off on everyone who puts roots down in the city and has allowed the welcoming hospitality that our city is so proud of to continue.  Annually, there are over 17 public festivals celebrating everything from the diverse and vibrant cultures that make up our city, to music, to the culinary arts, to sports, to theatre and the list goes on.

With the Rocky Mountains and countless freshwater lakes on our doorstep, Calgary has something to satisfy everyone’s outdoor tastes. We have three ski resorts and 34 lakeside campgrounds within a two hour drive, as well as hiking and bike trails that will awe you at every turn.  For the indoor types we have some of the best shopping, performing arts and restaurants the country has to offer.  From down-home barbeque to fine dining, Calgary can satisfy the most adventurous and discriminating of palates.

If you like to work hard and play hard or work hard and relax then Calgary is the place for you!

| Engineering Team

The PVP engineering team is comprised of a culturally diverse group of men and women who span all career ranges.  This diversity has enabled clear and open communication between all members of the team and has led to the development of standard workplace practices allowing PVP Engineering members to be effective in multiple areas of a project.  Outside of the principals, over a third of PVP’s core engineers possess graduate degrees, many of whom have developed themselves into specialists in a variety of areas from finite element analysis of piping and supports to complex transient analysis of piping and pumping systems.
